We become what we do. Taking the time to plan every day helps you become more productive, more effective, and more successful. To accomplish this every day, you must be disciplined.
Planning is a habit. Daily planning must become a habit. To form a habit, you must be disciplined.
Discipline is driven by purpose. Only when you have a clearly defined purpose of what you desire to accomplish will you obtain the self-discipline to form the habit of daily planning.
Remember what Napoleon Hill and Peter Drucker said about the discipline of planning:
Reduce your plan to writing … The moment you complete this, you will have definitely given concrete form to the intangible desire.
