Act on Goals
You can act on your goals.
Goals without action are simply wishes. Without action, goals fade and desires vanish. It is only when you put forth the effort to act on your goals that your belief in their attainment becomes reality.
What does it mean to act on your goals?
Plan to achieve
To achieve your goals, you must put forth the effort to create an effective plan for their obtainment. The achievement of your goals requires planning and effort.
Plan to work
It takes effort to do what you need to do every day to get you one step closer to your goals. If you donít control your day, your day will control you.
Plan to act
If you wait until you know everything you need to know before you act, you will never act. You must put forth the effort every day to deal with the disappointments, learn from your mistakes, and keep moving forward.
Remember what Helen Keller and Johan Wolfgang Von Goethe said about goals:
Character cannot be developed in ease and quiet. Only through experiences of trial and suffering can the soul be strengthened, vision cleared, ambition inspired and success achieved.
Difficulties increase the nearer we approach the goal.
