The great Zig Zigler is famous for reminding us that people don’t buy from you because of what you say; people buy from you because of what you say that they believe. And that belief comes from you building trust.

The reason we’re doing this is just to explain something to you. One of the interesting things about people in America is pretty much folks are folks. So regardless of whether you’re in a rural community, or you’re in a metropolitan city, or you’re in a suburb like the Bronx just right outside of New York City, the folks are folks. For you, to build a relationship with the people in your community is one of the greatest things that you can do to help build your business.
Remember, business is built on relationships. It was the great Zig Ziglar who was famous for saying that people don’t buy from you because of what you say; they buy from you because of what you say that they believe. That belief comes through you building trust. So whatever community you’re in, whatever part of a city you’re in, wherever you happen to live, just remember this, people need to trust you. When they trust you, it makes all the difference in the world.
